It's not fun at all, the level design is horrendous. However if you have absolutely zero standards you can spend a lot of time on this game; it's a case of quantity > quality.
The appeal is closer to disgaea than other tactics games, you have to enjoy building your party because the battles are bland and mindless.

Play it, it's a good game and the asshurt is based around spergs who grinded 2 characters and got memed by judge rules because they only had 2 characters and couldn't do the mission

It's a good game, people tend to go overboard with the card hate, but I think it adds to the game in the sense that it makes you have a varied guild instead of relying on 2-3 guys to do all the work.

The only one who had a legitimate reason to stay is Doned. And even he learned to accept not being able to walk in the real world.

The rest of them had to basically learn to nut up and deal with the real world like everyone else. Ritz just needed to be less self conscious about her hair. Mewt needed to learn to stand up for himself. And Cid needed to snap out of his depression. Which they all did.

It'd be nice to see a SRPG with the entire FF multiverse. It'll be like that one game they made with the Namco and Capcom universe. Maybe even allow some of the villains to be recruited, like the Turks and Seifer's trio.

There are so many ways to fuck this game in the ass. I had a thief with full thief gear that had no less than 60% steal rate on any NPC including weapons. I had him dive into a sea of viera and strip every last one of the naked before Totema'ing them to death.

Seriously a lot of the reason the main cast wanted to stay was because of self esteem problems. Cid was in the shitter because he stopped working because he was depressed about his wife dying. But he learned to work through that depression for the sake of his son. Same deal with Mewt, he wouldn't stand up for himself for fear of being bullied which ended up being the reason he was bullied in the first place. After he learned how to believe in himself he was able to turn the tables on the bullies. The only person of the cast who had real stock in Dream Ivalice was Doned. Which is nice until you also remember that anybody Mewt didn't like got turned into zombies meant to get killed over and over again by elementary school students. Which is fucking stiff for throwing snowballs at someone.
