Did you try Genie? Summons are actually useful in KH2, the only thing you need to look out for are the summoners, everything else can just ce combo'd down

Try Final Form Genie and try to get all enemies pulled in with magnet and then kill them with genie as fast as possbile, just look out for the summoners, the guys with the pink cubes since the cubes can attack independently from their bodies

That's the problem, when I'm not being OHKO'd by normal attacks the Summoner combos me with the cubes and there is no way to block or get out of the combo leading to death.

Like this is just blatantly bad design. I'll try Genie but idk

It really isn't, just don't go nuts too hard just can just reflekt the cubes if you see them coming or try to guard them

"see them coming?" dude I can see them coming but when you're in any sort of combo there is no time to cast reflect. And once they hit you once they kill you.
