Irrelevant, the former director wanted Versus/XV to be multiple games/sequels so it would have always been more segmented there than it is now, because the movie/anime/audio CD are self contained while the game is the whole main story with a start, middle and end, if it was under Nomura it would not have had an ending in the 1st game and was objectively more split up
