The main problem with survival and procedural/random gen shit is that there's just no content, but content takes work and the reason devs do this is because their lazy, it's a vicious cycle
Dwarf Fortress and other roguelikes are procgen, but they're filled to the brim with content and you rarely see the same thing each playthrough

The Atari was terrible and the only other thing the Ataribox is adding to that is an app store (if they manage funding and planning well enough that it doesn't get cut), which just makes it an Ouya plus terrible Atari games.
