Aside from the fakes here, it seems pretty well deserved. ARMS should be pushed to a 8/10, and Splatoon 2 deserves to be at least 8.5, but all those low budget games deserve it.

Nah. It's very good and it feels magical for the first ~20 hours, but then the repetitiveness kicks in and you kinda just want to complete the game because there's nothing actually new to see in it. I would place it around 92, but 97 is really pushing it.

Yes, relatively. It's not a perfect game, but when you use the scale that game journalists use then it deserved its score.
If you use /v/'s scale then it doesn't deserve it. But no game would deserve such a score on that scale.
