I played it for about 20 hours, beat GP on 7. Haven't touched since launch month. Shame really, character design and world building is some of my favorite but the game got old fast.

Can't say I've logged in as many hours as splatoon 2 (65 compared to 165). But it's fun in short sessions, and honestly thats kind of how I handle most of my fighting games, so I say it lives up to my standard.

No people only bought it because one of the character's backsides were visible and because they're thirsty virgins with no impulse control they instantly spend $60 on a shit game.

I get how the motion controls could let me move better but my brain can't into moving the joycons like dual flight sticks.

I'd say the only bullshit part of the game is the RNG grind for arms, other than that it seems like a perfectly viable fighter I just suck at.

This. Only reason i'm not playing as often is Splatoon 2, and now that they're taking forever to give us stages i'm bored enough to play ARMS again. It's just the way online focused games are. Gonna drop both for Mario v Rabbids on tuesday.

Already have 60 hours in it and bought it like 2 weeks ago, find it alot of fun. Easily my favorite new Nintendo IP in a long time.

Splatoon is nice too but I don't like relying upon braindead teammates and frankly the QOL is awful, ARMS is simply much snappier.
