SE hasn't released a main number FF game on a Nintendo console since they left for Sony after FFVI just spinoff's like Crystal Chronicles. Only exception is FF1-6 on GBA which were on Nintendo platforms to begin with. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Yup. This is the biggest flaw of mobile gaming right now. Pushing it to it's limits means heat issues and thermal throttling and it will be this way until perfromance increase exponentially that pushing the limits is not needed or someone made a phone around gaming however that means your phone will be bulky or something.
