Some people say Malk is not good for the first run because of cryptic dialogue.

I say they have brain damage, because though cryptic, the devs made it so you don't have to be a detective to decipher it.

Forget it, most people won't be able to understand shit. I've seen many let's play youtubers that do blind malkavian and pick dialogue options that mean something other than they thought. I trust very few people to correctly decipher malkavian dialogue the first time around. OP should play it safe. Not to mention you can appreciate the uniqueness of malkavian by playing some more normal clan first and then malkavian.

If you have a lockpicking skill of 10, you can open a locked door in the Mandarin's office in Chinatown after you've killed him that reveals that he works for Ming Xiao for the express purpose of exterminating Kindred.
