And to be fair 10 is amazing

11 is fucking amazing. It's like playing a classic JRPG with a modern finish, which I've been dying for for ages. It's absolutely beautiful and basically plays like Chrono Trigger, with all of the charm

Only sad thing is I'm approaching the end of the game and it's almost over. But it seems to have loads of post-game content so we'll see

Looks that way. I played the Japanese demo on PSN and had a blast myself, though the controls were a lot more complex than I was used to for the series which took some adjusting.

Pretty sure there was never much of a market for this series outside of Japan. It's about as niche as Wizardry. /vr/ has an unfortunately persistent general for it though, so get ready for DQ autists to flock to the defense of their precious grindfest simulator.

Man, I've previously only played Dragon Quest in Japanese, but a few days ago I played a bit of VII 3DS in English out of curiosity. I thought it was fine until I got to Bollymalloy. I don't know why, but their accent really bugged me, it gave the game a different feeling than it had when I played it in Nip.
