I think it would work best if they did it as a combination of the two. You obviously need the little bit of the magic element from Warhammer integrated for certain things. Especially if you add in things like Dragons and the Others. A big emphasis on marriages and allegiances is essential though.

It's one of the most watched TV shows in North America/UK at the moment. I'd be shocked if more devs didn't try to capitalise on that popularity while it lasts.

Yeah, Martin/Warner/HBO seem to be being reasonable careful with the IP and not trying to dump so much stuff it gets cratered and spent immediately. vidya seems more like the sort of thing they'd do to keep up interest and further monetize AFTER they've done the core series, and maybe done a movie or something too. Or it might help to space things out between whatever else they do.

Wasn't a fan desu. The Whitehills come across as Bolton-lite and the Forresters are way too much like the Starks. The northern grove stuff was just weird and didnt feel that consistent with the rest of the world, and the Kings Landing story was way too railroaded even by Telltale standards.
