When I was a wee fuck the game amazed me with its unbridled destruction and weapon variety. At least a remake needs to happen. Put it on a modern engine.

The problem is that if they keep it faithful to the originals it won't sell the million of copies EA demands every of its IPs to sell nowadays. So it stays dead like all of the other Origins IPs, like Wing Commander and Ultima.

Because the designers actually gave a fuck about the environments, structure, and enemy placement. They didn't just design every bigger room like an arena that they just spawn a bunch of enemies in that relentlessly hone in on you.

Not that there's anything wrong with that in particular, Smash TV is a great game after all, but it doesn't make for terribly memorable level design.
