The podcast is good. Joe is a fool in the genuine, lovable way. He's a good guy even if he's kind of an idiot, and he's great at getting good discussion out of his various guests from a huge variety of fields, backgrounds, and viewpoints.

The Witness was an okay game with some horrible flaws in regards to difficulty curve and intuitive design, but I think I can understand his reasoning. It did some clever things that I genuinely have not seen a game attempt before. The way it ties the game theme into the gameplay was really neat. Though, I will probably never replay the game.
George's review of the game is kind of shitty, because he doesn't really go into why the game is flawed and obviously don't understand some of the core aspects of the game.

The WoFF guys are pretty smart, but are a lot better at just being articulate. It's great when that's about games, but for almost anything else, because a podcast is a discussion medium and is more geared toward hot takes than prepared answers, when Gary talks about politics or some of his weird personal horseshit it gets tiring.
They just really seem "small" but maybe that's to be expected from two depressives from the provinces with provincial state degrees.

They really have covered a huge amount of games on WoFF though. Now it takes several weeks for a game that I'm familiar with, but I do like hearing them discuss games.

I know they did an episode all about Cheetahmen II, one about I think a pinball game or something similar that had a lot of hidden text in it (not the famous Tetris one) and so on.
