Legion is recruited during the Collector Ship mission, aiding Shep with rifle fire and EDI with cyberware.
Underwear models for Shep and all romanceable crew for bedtime cuddling.
Cut Human-Reaper boss fight. Replace with a firefight and a small dialogue scene that reveals the weird controller Collector was the "Saren" of the Prothean cycle, his reward being that he retained his mind only to have the awareness to suffer.

Cut "Reaper Code" from Rannoch mission, as the non-Heretic Geth are supposed to be defined by seeking their own evolution. Change it to a Reaper counter-weapon to Xen's white noise jamming, which is still kinda shitty but doesn't suggest that the Reapers actually are the Geth's evolution.
If you have an ME2 LI they replace Vega.

Destroy ending explicitly shows Shep surviving, and humanity is emphasised to have a stronger galactic standing as Shep leads them into a golden age.

Where is it suggested that the Reapers are the evolution of the Geth? I played through the game 3 times, 2 of them on 100%. I wonder how I missed that. I always assumed the Heretics behaved like that because of indoctrination or the synthetic version of indoctrination. Even the presence of Reaper code suggests that: the same way they pour their will and thoughts into an organic shell, they do pretty much the same to synthetic ones. They even "upgraded" the Heretics with advanced targeting solutions the same way they "upgrade" organics with implants and cybernetics.

Make everything after ME1 non-canon and then make an actual ME2 that continues the story of the first game. Then we'll just see where that will take us.

Here's what I think you need to do:

Switch Mass Effect 1 and 2 in the narrative.

The Alliance is kind of the black sheep of the galaxy. Their brief war with the Turians and their skirmish with the Batarians earned them the rep of being too impetuous for their own good, so the Council has them sequestered in their own little ward of the Citadel. Alliance goes "well screw you all, we're going to make our own Spectres!" and cooks up Cerberus to handle human matters that the Alliance ignores, like the disappearance of humans from edge colonies. Shepherd joins Cerberus, goes on mission, builds a crew and even starts recruiting some aliens, which draws flak but you can take either the moral high ground of "We're showing that we're better than they are" or just be like "f you I do what I want, fire me if you don't like it." There's no mention of Reapers in the main plot, just the Collectors. You do still infiltrate the Reaper wreckage to retrieve the IFF code, but you don't know what exactly it is. The Geth are presented as a distant, utterly alien threat that you at times cross paths with. You also cross paths with Saren on a couple occasions, acting as the Council's agent to try and figure out WTF you're doing. Otherwise, the game mostly proceeds as it normally does.

>Mass Effect 2
This basically charts the same narrative as the original ME1, but the context is totally different. Being the first Human Spectre *means* something because you've already meet Spectres, you know how humans are treated and you know that this is your chance to prove the Alliance's worth. It also makes Saren's turn, the sudden resurgence of the Geth and the discovery of the Reapers even more meaningful, because they're more effectively set-up and foreshadowed.

Have veritable Dark Age follow the end of the Reaper War. All the Aliens that came to Earth are shipped back home in stasis a process that takes decades, centuries for the Quarian and who live beyond the galactic rim.

ME4 starts with a primitive Mass Relay network coming on line, reconnecting the races of Citadel for the first time in centuries.

If starting from MEA then set the game decades after it maybe a century or more. The Milky way colonist and the Angara are in open War with the Kett.

In Andromeda Ryder could have been a good character if he had gain confidance and become a bit more like Shepard throughout the campaign.

Yeah, Ryder's problem was them trying too hard to make them the anti Shepard, but failed to give them any positive qualities in the process.
Having a complete nobody grunt that got promoted way ahead of their initial capabilities via nepotism could have been a decent story, and a great contrast to Shepard, who was one of the top soldiers in the Galaxy by the start of ME1 already.
A critical problem was that there was no mentor NPC to nuture Ryder into being a true leader. This was exacerbated by Ryder, despite him being an incompetent doormat, STILL being among the most mature and competent people in the Andromeda galaxy, by virtue of everyone else being childish retards incapable of initiative.

As it stands, I'm fairly sure they only killed him off is because Clancy Brown was the only VA that could command a high wage.
