A Hat in Time is a poor man's Anton and Coolpecker, but I guess I'll give it a chance. Can't be worse than YL.

Seems unfair that this will get held up to YL when Hat in Time was the original N64 Platformer Revival

This game will live or die on its controls just like Yooka Laylee, but what I've seen makes me hopeful. The worlds seem much better designed than YL too.
