I remember when GG started, everyone still loved Arin and hated Jon for how loud he was, but I first noticed a switch in opinions on /v/ after Arin criticised some game that's usually revered here, and then people started hating him and loving Jon. It was always low quality, so let us rip that band-aid off now. I will say that it got far worse once Jon left, but to say that they were ever great, or even good, is just baiting. LP is awful in general, and GG is high up on the list of the worst. What is worse is that any time it seems like GG could maybe stop sucking, Suzy sucks Arin off and then he follows through with more of her shitty plans, (Table Flip, Kitty Kat Gaming, etc.). The only thing that sets GG in the line of fire for both /V/ and /CO/ is that many people remember Arin from the Newgrounds days and also remember when he openly bashed LP shit, only for him to not only jump into LP shit, but to also leave Newgrounds, and even animation as a whole behind. Oh, and it also does not help that Arin is awful when it comes to music and acting, yet acts like he is a god, just because he got lucky and joined a band and got to guest star on some shows, all of which people rode his dick on, despite the fact that he is a terrible musician, rapper, and actor. Yet, here we are, with Arin and the GG cast leading the new YouTube Red show, AND still getting number one on the music charts whenever a new StarBomb album drops.

I'd say GG was funny for a solid eight months while Jon was around, because it still felt like friends sitting down to record their game sessions. A few months before Jon left you started to notice the decline in quality because they were straining to continue to play the games with each other. When Dan came around I'd say there was a solid six months of quality content because Dan was a fresh face and had a decent personality. Then things started to waver slowly but surely, and now Game Grumps is a total shell of its former self. Dan fakes enthusiasm for every game (not in a mean way, but in a "This is what I gotta do to keep people interested" thing), Arin has stated multiple times that the show is an act and he's actually a much calmer person when not recording, and the people who added a little bit of variety (Ross, Barry, etc) don't show up any more.

Yup that's the video I linked. I watched a few GG videos after Jon left and I was disappointed. I like all three of the guys on the show, especially the guests they'd have on like Oney and Stamper, but I saw it coming. GG was the last Let's Play channel I really watched. The only thing I really watch on YT now is political videos and if things keep going the way they are I soon won't even be able to do that.
