I genuinely enjoyed that minigame way too much. I'd go and look for every NPC in the area just to play it again, it was addicting to raise the number. Eventually every NPC in the cities would love my character.

No, each NPC had one topic they liked, loved, disliked and hated. Bigger pie meant bigger effect, the minigame was about clicking the big pies on topics they liked and small pies on topics they disliked.
