the problem is that each class has specific presets and you can't mix different features with each other like lips, eyes and cheekbones.

Basically the creators want you to only create pretty characters, by narrowing everything down so you don't create ugly ones.

do not play this game it will suck your life up as you try to git gud over 300+ hours gone like nothing. No person can realistically play this and ever approach getting good unless they're NEET.

For all its strengths it has some of the worst mechanics ever. Like 4 days of grinding 10 hours + per day just to get some boat accessories that looked like pure garbage for small stat boosts.

No, because I'm comparing one of both of the game's biggest selling point, the thing they BOTH advertised as their big thing. I'm comparing solely the customization. I'm Illusion didn't spend as much time as money on their char maker as Black Desert did as well, they hardly have the money for that.

That's how they advertised it. I never said it was what I thought, only that it was among one of their things they kept pushing in their trailers. Aside from their graphics, that was talked about more than the game-play.

Fuck the character creator. The real sins are the cash shop and how criminally empty the world is

Costumes cost $20 for a full set. For ONE damn costume. Pets are $10 each and you have to combine them to level them up. There isnt even a guarantee that it WILL level up when you combine them. Some of the furniture ingame costs more than going to a real store and buying the same shitty cups and trinkets.

The world is what is really unforgiveable though, you can simply ignore the cashshop shit if you wanted but there's no overlooking the huge world full of FUCKING NOTHING. You wonder off the path, into a valley full of NOTHING. You climb a mountain and at the top? NOTHING. You go down to the shoreline and follow it all the way around the continent? NOTHING. You hop into the ocean to swim? Have fun drowning without the $20 fish/shark costume. There are whales to shoot now from the expansion that hang in the middle of the ocean near the surface but if you go deeper? Hit the bottom? Absolutely fucking NOTHING to see down there. Want to explore all the little islands around the coast? Well guess what? There's fucking NOTHING interesting on any of them. Just rocks and bushes and trees. Fucking game has practically no invisible walls, you CAN climb that fucking mountain you see but there's no fucking point in doing it

You can't even sit back on some island and fish because fishing is just an idling minigame designed to earn you money just for being logged in. It's all so disgusting.
