is it true, /v/?
do you feel the same way?

yes

Is this literally going to have the same amount of content as the real game? Also on realism, I think it would be fine if there weren't so many, and if they focused on color theory and lighting as well. Max Payne still holds up fairly well. I do feel like AA games have almost completely died outside of Nintendo due to increasingly high expectations of graphics and content. Hidden gems are non-existent now.
i get triggered as fuck when people shit on FF9's beautiful artstyle

Is that that Chulip game on top right? Is it any good?
>>388067585
it is, and it is
it's like a really quirky adventure game with fantastic characters
>>388064891
Honestly, yes. Artstyle > Raw fidelity.
Every damn time.

Disgusting. Chibi. Furry-bait. Trash.
I agree to an extent but holy shit why is he acting like his opinions are facts? Many games succeed artistically with "realistic" graphics. Resident Evil and MGS series come to mind

I mean, he doesn't say anywhere that a game can't succeed with photorealistic graphics
RE and MGS are not reliant on their graphics for their success, and it's worth noting that the point he made holds true: they do look dated when going back to them after a gen passes

I played FF9 for the first time this year and I'm amazed how it still look gorgeous.
