There kind of literally is. Get Isonade as your guardian spirit and it'll show you enemies. It already shows you on the compass when shrines are nearby and you can get different bonuses on your gear and Guardian Spirits that will show you on the map where items, treasure, kodama and enemies are.

kek not gonna lie even on Way of the Wise now I cursed like shit when playing Queen's eyes. I do still get easily lost on some missions.
The game might not have the best level design or can be compared to Souls but really like how open the levels are.
I still haven't touch Samurai from Sawayama cause I know I'll get lost again.
