What does /v/ think of Bionic Commando (2009)?

I liked it, was thinking about playing it last night, now I will play it tonight thanks to this thread.

swinging is good
shooting is bad
story is bad
characters are bad

it was fun, i liked the musical callback to the original. Deffo worth the Gamefly rental.

Underrated. The multiplayer was fucking great.

I really enjoyed it despite its flaws.

Literally this, it was fun game basically being bionic spiderman but the fact that all the guns pretty much had three bullets was shit.

Making super joe the villain was a complete fucking ass pull, nevermind the whole "Your dead wife is an AI which makes your arm usable"

I liked it a lot. Loved that you never even had to see neo Spencer if you had ReArmed. Not that I mind him, but he's not RAD. I miss Grin.

WIFE ARM

It felt very repetitive, but I think it's shame the game wasn't given another chance, or at least it's core mechanics. I believe that it has probably the best swinging in vidya.

Shitty redesign too, I even postponed buying it just so i could get the classic skin on Re-armed because i can't stand dreadlock Spencer.
Also fuck MVCI for denying us the pleasure of playing as mustache Spencer from Re-armed 2.
