F.E.A.R, I'd say. It's got fun guns and a decent enough story, it's not too long, the light effects and AI are top notch; it still holds up.
What's in the N64 rom collection ? Got any of the nintendo games that got taken down from emuparadise ?

There is also CnC on ps1, and it works a lot better too, its actual 3d on n64 iirc. Look up on youtube.

I played the ps1 version a lot actually. It had ps1 to ps1 link support so you could do ad hoc multiplayer, and it also had ps1 mouse support. Gamepad was fine too, but game went to single digit framerate 20 minutes into a skirmish. Its good shit all in all, I recommend it.
