I like DA2, I just don't like the friendship/rivalry system, and unlike Origins there aren't gifts to balance it out. I end up making decisions based on what will get me the most friendship points instead of what I actually want to do.

I really liked DA2, and it really was sad that EA forced to rush the development. I mean yeah the base game was horrible but you can definitely see what Bioware was going for in the DLCs.

Yeah, this was the one thing that I liked about DA2. You didn't have to play a sociopath who kept telling your party members what they wanted to hear so you'd get the best rewards (and they'd stick with you).
You can piss someone off in DA2 and they'll get unique powers and still want to fuck you.

It has gotten a lot of flak from people, and I'll admit not all of it is undeserved.
The combat isn't good and the theme/story borrows too much from Planescape: Torment.
I did end up liking it a lot though.
