I miss old JRPGs. I wish I could unplay games like FF6, Chrono Trigger, the works. Play them again like it was the first time. I try to get into JRPGs again now, but not only was FFXV pretty bad, a small assortment of other recent JRPGs I played I didn't really enjoy. I did enjoy Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii, though.
Are there any JRPGs of the last decent /v/ recommends? I've seen a few threads about a 'Tales' series, but those are typically awash with people commenting on how low effort they are.

Another anon said woff I agree with that it's a fun game. Xenonlade games are both pretty good. Trails in the sky series might hit the mark for you although they tend to be really slow paced

Also because I missed that last part, I have a 3ds/psp/wii/pc. I did really enjoy Bravely Default a few years ago when it dropped, but I never played the second one.

The stories aren't connected so you don't have to worry about skipping. Also DQ7 and 8 on 3ds, 7 has along and slow intro though.

Xenoblade had a great, comfy feel to it.
You'll also want to look into 4 Heroes of Light (DS). To me, it's better than all the FFs that came after 6.
I want to try World of Final Fantasy, but the MCs have that shitty Nomura-designed look that I just really, really fucking hate.
