I said in an earlier post that the current methods for SRS are crude and becoming outdated. Even if the person truly is trans, only having access to these outdated methods of transition will cause issues for them. You keep saying this but just because you read an article that growing organs in labs is going to be a thing doesn't make trans operations feasible. Transplants have a bunch of drawbacks and even from blood relatives it is never permanent because the original body will reject and attack the new organs eventually, let alone organs from donor cells like you proposed. It's a miserable experience and it is only done when there is a true need.

Most new medical technologies are expensive at first, it doesn't mean it will never be viable. It's a legitimate argument point when discussing the suicide rates and unhappiness of trans people who transition. The claim that it's just a mental illness and they need to stop being trans has mostly been debunked, it doesn't work. Improving technology to make transitioning better and easier to undo in case the person decides they don't want it is a better bet in the long run.
