Well, it's shaping up to be one of the better DB games, and it'll probably be real popular with the FGC.

on the comment section on youtube and on gamefaqs there's a lot of hate for the game because it's 2D. Not sure how much of that will reflect on the actual sales.

different games, xenoverse is a arena brawler, action RPG.

fighterZ is a serious competetive 2D fighting game made by the GOAT 2D fighting studio, i enjoy xenoverse, but i am very grateful we have a serious fighting game about dragon ball.

and that arcsys is gaining more recognition in general.

I preordered that shit the day of E3. No regrets. I am super excited even though I know I'll buy it, play for 15 minutes, then never touch it again because I fucking hate fighting games.

honestly I'm looking more forward to the new naruto game. Seems pretty fun. 4v4 is always a good time.

low, but i think MvCi would fail big even if the gameplay is good, capcom have bad reputation, the game looks like shit and people is just not interested, capefags have injustice 2, weebs DBFZ, many people on the FGC is angry at capcom, and if the game just don't sell capcom would scrap it fast like street fighter x tekken, probably DBFZ would be more successful in the FGC and with casulals than MvCi, the game would not be SFV or smash but probably surpass tekken and marvel.

also, even if the game has less entrants than SFV on the EVO the game could sell way more than SFV, SFV have 1.7 million sales, low for a game like street fighter, tekken was 1.66m with just a month.

The game's going to sell well no doubt about it, I just hope it doesn't die out too soon and it has a healthy playerbase in a year from it launching. Not sure how it'll fare on the tournament side though, Capcom seems to have that esports shit on lock.
