controls are basically as stiff as DS1 imo, not to mention a lot of bosses are pushovers if you know their weakness.

I only had trouble in the swamps because i hate the platformed, as is true in even the newest souls games.

It's not. You can tank way more hits in Demon's Souls and have much more healing items.

Imagine if they copy/pasted Armor Spider into Dark Souls 3 and tuned it to match the strength of other bosses in that game. Armor Spider would be the most difficult boss in the game.

Armor Spider is only manageable in Demon's Souls because its damage isn't too bad.

I haven't played Demon's Souls in a long time, but last time I played it I remember just tanking seemingly unavoidable damage and healing it off. Maybe it is easier now that I've played the other games much more.

It's different

I had more trouble with a dex build but when i tried the faith build and the int built it was one of the easiest games if not the easiest.
You just have to know what you are doing, moonlight blade is a godsend in this game.

Dude Stockpile Thomas is one of my favorite NPCs, he's great, but nah. Item burden was just all around shit. Even without holding many consumables, just multiple types of moongrass/arrows/my armor/weapons, I was nearly always full on item burden without the ring of herculean strength (which is a fat waste of a slot.)

I don't know why the fuck people think Valley of Defilement is the "bad" one. Fuck everything about the shrine. Fuck the mantas, fuck the dual kat skellies, FUCK THE CRYSTAL LIZARDS, fuck the reaper, fuck the laser ghosts, fuck Satsuki and his grass spamming, fuck the cheesing invaders with storm rulers. The bosses are literally the easiest thing about world 4, and they're boring. The only hard thing about world is the meat cleaver black phantom, unless you're a mad man in pure black tendency. Black phantom giant depraved ones are pure horseshit.
