Oh shit another D2 fan. I just bought a huge collection of stuff for this off ebay. All the 1999 press event stuff, every magazine with Laura on it. The manga, the mook, the guide, posters, the OSTS, etc. Basically everything ever to do with D2. Its one of my favorite games ever. I love it so much

Parasite Eve is similar but also quite different. You never go through big ass areas hunting or taking snapshots to survive. Theres so much innovation and ideas jampacked into this I'd argue to say it has a lot more going for it. PE may have the more fun gameplay though huh

It's better than the first one. But ebola is better than the first one so it's not saying much.

Its a true underrated gem. Play it come winter time. If you set your Dreamcasts clock to Christmas or New Years or pre or post 2000 the endings are different I believe

It's definitely one of, if not the, weirdest video games I've ever played. I almost died when the little girl melted at the end.

It's a game that's 90% a boring slog, but the 10% that's not boring is absolutely fucking insane and completely make the rest of the game worth it.

I recommend playing it on an actual dreamcast. When a random encounter is about to happen, you hear the Dreamcast start loading it like 4 seconds ahead of time. It's a really fun experience.

Got the first game as a birthday gift when I was a kid and completed it the same day a few hours later and was so disappointed I got my parents to go refund it and get Resident Evil 2 instead.

A Japanese game for blind peopke

The regular combat gets rather boring after a while but the bosses were great.
I really enjoyed the final boss fight especially that moment when you get blind and deaf and can only feel the vibrations of your gun firing, shit was intense when I was replaying the game on new years eve when drunk.

I played this back in March for the first time and was fucking blown away. The shooting sucks and the gameplay is just weird but something about the game just stays with you...not sure what it is exactly.

Both Saturn and DC emulation are at least 'good' now. Demul for DC and Mednafen for Saturn. Overall better than PS2 emulation.
