I actually enjoy Sonic 06 more then sonic heroes.

I enjoy the in-game aesthetics a lot. I like the way Samus looks and moves around the world in this, and the hack n' slash gameplay can be fun.

The story is absolutely fucking garbage, but I can have fun with it in the same way I can enjoy the Resident Evil movies. I don't see it as a canon metroid game, but more of a "b-movie" like alternate take on the series.
