Though it's kind of weird that they'd do this and take attention away from Dirty Bomb. At least there they'd be able to get (more) cash from the microtransactions.

Hopefully Brink doesn't get updated with that kind of stuff (though, I don't really know how that'd work anyway what with the customization and classes already there).

Just hearing about BRINK pisses me off so much. All you have to do is give the game some fucking mod tools. A simple number-changing mod could unfuck 90% of the game's issues. The other 10% would be custom maps.
The community could make maps one million times better than the chokepoint hell that makes even Overwatch maps seem open. Also fuck off with the Enemy Territory design of DEMANDING an Engineer complete specific Objectives because almost fucking nobody played Engineer due to the shit class design.

Anyone could unfuck the awful weapon handling in one half hour by just making them goddamn accurate instead of the sprinklers they are. Take after the Gerund's tight spread and make fights about aiming, not pure luck with all of the other weapons' several degree-spread radius.
Do away with the Medal bullshit and give all four classes all of their skills instead of the retarded bullshit where you could have one class with all of their abilities and the rest with nothing. Do away with the locked bodytypes and let players switch on the fly just like with Classes (which nobody does because all other classes than the one they focus on are gimped).
Speed up the slow ass Supply rate by a lot so players will actually be willing to use all of their Skills instead of saving their Supply points the use on one or two self-serving skills.

Preordered this piece of shit from gamestop. Got it launch night and went back the next day returned it for a full cash refund. Manger would not budge but neither would I. He finally gave up and I got my money. Never went back to any gamestop after that shitshow.

I bought BRINK late, like right before Skyrim came out. I thought it was really fun and couldn't understand the hate, but I also didn't follow the hype(?) or release at all, so I didn't have anything to be disappointed about.

That said, re-downloading, and hopefully this will bring some players back.
