Anyone else do this?
no, you fucking mong.
Can, yes
but why tho
>>387888691
Looks uncomfy as fuck.
>>387888691
I do it for running on Souls games
if it has a convenient use then yes
>>387888691
>>387888774
literal retards.
>>387888787
retarded as well.
only when needed
Anyone else do this?

>>387888691
Did it on Halo 3 when I wanted to jump, turn and shoot at the same time. It just evolved naturally.
>>387888691
Yeah, right after I suck a bunch of dicks.
>>387888691
Yes. Claw grip is the only way to move the camera and press the abxy buttons at the same time
I used to suck on my thumb until I was 13
And I had my thumb in my mouse while playing so I had my index on the buttons and the joystick at the same time
Pretty comfy
>>387888691
I'm not a brainlet that plays shooters on consoles so no.
>>387889158
Mouth*
Fuck im still autistic
>>387889158
>>387889245
suicide your life.
>>387888691
I do that. I also control the D-Pad with my tongue.
>>387889369
you're such a fucking degenerate.
>>387889369
How is using your tongue for fun things degenerate?
I challenge you to go play something and use your tongue.
>>387889898
You probably also use your tongue to play with your cat's butthole.
>>387888691
>>387888929
>>387889369
>>387890224
>le meeme grip
gill yourself
>>387890297
>>387888691
No, I do this.
>>387890224
>Taking damage because you're a retard that doesn't know how to hold something or use their fingers.
>>387888691
Any decent Souls player does this. How else are you going to run and move the camera at the same time.
>>387890729
You can switch those buttons around.
I think most control issues in 3D games would be solved by just moving the face buttons to the underside of the controller so you never have to take you thumbs off the thumb sticks.
Obviously this would make learning the which buttons do what difficult for normies but it would make say holding down one button to run, while pressing another button to attack while running while turning the camera simple and without having to adopt some retarded backward grip.
>>387891745
Like the armored core grip
>>387890224
All the people who say monster hunter is hard aren't lying, but they never admit that it's because of the horrid controls.
post tits
>>387888691
Your fingers is chubby!
>>387888691
for assassins creed
it's because you can't use both sticks and press buttons at the same time. This is because the xbox controller is poorly designed.
>>387888691
this is how I played halo 3. fuck bumper jumper.
>manlet gorilla hands
>>387888691
my index is too fuckin stiff and fucked for this type of controller holding, I hate my body
>>387888691
Apparently.
>>387888691
Only sometimes, when I need to press face buttons and simultaneously rotate the camera.
>>387888691
This is the Dark Souls of controller grips
>>387890557
>THE MACHINES ARE BECOMING SENTIENT
Seriously, though, is that realistically helpful to people? It looks like a convoluted mess.
>>387896006
Its as helpful as a new ergonomic keyboard layout.
Its good after 20 painstaking hours of getting used to it
>>387894667
holy shit, Beetlejuice on blu-ray for 7.99??
>>387888691
I do that all the time but only when playing dark souls and not locked on to something. Gotta hold sprint and still move the camera
i do ot with the other hand for whistle running in botw
>>387896325
>that excorcism scene at the end
>>387891745
l-lewd
>>387888691
For certain action games and SSBM, yeah. Certain inputs are strictly easier to do consistently with a claw grip.
>>387896840
Slut.
Yeah
>Crackdown 1 had a machine gun buggy
>the machine gun button was set to be B
>tfw you learned to play like this naturally a decade ago
>now everyone is buying elite paddle controllers for $100 and making a big deal about MLG CLAW GRIPS
>>387888691
If I want to move my character, rotate the camera and use one of the colored buttons at the same time, then I'm forced to do this. Otherwise no, it's not comfortable to have your hands in that position at all times.
>>387888691
You made me remember playing time crysis on ps1 without the gun
for the guys who didn't play it
>cover/uncover button is triangle
>shoot button is x
>>387890224
>Not having a 3DS XL
>Not having a Circle Pad Pro/C-Stick
It's like you want to hold your team back.
>>387890557
This is so tryhard. Having said that, natural movement instead of button presses would work a lot better for games.
>>387891830
Not sure why I'm very triggered by this.
Controllers don't really fit my hands well
Pic related
>>387888691
Yes, if I find a need to use the right analog and face buttons at the same time.
>>387888691
I press the buttons on the ds4 like an arcade stick when I'm playing tekken, I use the dpad normally though. Thinking about buying a real fightstick but tekken works pretty well with a pad
>>387890224
lefties are so fucking weird
Thumb goes under the controller, index finger does analog, middle does buttons, ring finger does bumper/trigger.
This was my standard grip for combat in the witcher 3. I'm not a full autismo so I rebind jump for shooters.
>>387899425
are your parents related?
>>387888691
I used to do it but my arthritis prevents me nowadays.
I have to when sprinting in Dark Souls, thats about it.
>>387888691
when i was playing cod zombies and had to revive while moving trying not to get hit by the zombie train i had made, it was hard...
>>387891745
Steam controller has two paddle buttons on the back and it works great. No idea why the console controllers don't do this.
>>387888774
my nigga
>>387899425
Nobody cares, mutant.
>>387890224
why don't you move the d-pad to the right side of the touch screen to act like a joy stick? that's what i do, and i love it. 4U is the first monhun that i could get into.
>>387888774
Me too. Is there any other way?
>>387888901
>>387888691
dark souls running, and I held my N64 controller something like this as well
>>387888773
it is but it's really useful so I do it all the time
>>387888691
Sup Walshy when you commentating the next HCS turny?
>>387898962
>This is so tryhard.
being an amputee or missing digits is tryhard
>>387900413
are you over 60?
>>387888691
Obviously, at a solid disadvantage in a wide variety of third-person games if you don't
>>387899425
Wh- what are you...?
>>387888774
>>387905039
These. I think I've only used the claw grip in Dark Souls.
>>387888728
are you retarded? this is the optimal finger placement
>>387888691
I thought this was an autistic shitty way of playing games, but I ended up using that exclusively for Dark Souls
>>387888691
Only when I played Lost Planet 2's Multiplayer, the controls in that game were fucking weird.
