>be young and naive
>had a friend about 3 years older than me
>he was that one friend that was always the alpha, always managed to talk me into shit I didn't want to do
>he was older and bigger, he had been in a lot of fights and I hadnt, he would have REKT me
>he asks to borrow my PS1 copy of Command and Conquer Red Alert
>I loved that game, my PC copy wasn't working anymore and it was my last connection to C&C
>I was reluctant to let him borrow it, knowing he was a destructive piece of shit and never took care of his own shit, much less someone else's
>he basically intimidates me/makes me feel guilty for saying no

That was the day I decided I would be more selective about who I loaned my games to, and who my friends were.

mine aren't really special honestly

another one that doesn't really have a story but

>grab it out from behind my desk
>it was a wind waker DS holder
>no games or DS, just the that thing all on it's own
>we cut ties with each other years back so couldn't even give it back if i wanted to
>end up just throwing it in my desk drawer and forgetting about it
found it weird how he never brought up that he lost it, and i certainly don't remember stealing it (didn't even have a DS at the time)
