You should play Acid 1 before you go into Acid 2, especially since Acid 2 plot twist relies entirely on knowledge of Acid 1.
Acid 1 also has better art style (PS2-tier MGS2 style art style but atmosphere is like MGS1/Tanker Chapter) but worse gameplay.
Acid 2 has much better gameplay, more convoluted and silly story and much worse graphics (dude we're a western comic book now lmao)

Acid 2's story is even more convoluted than 1's? I thought 1 was already bordering on parody with how literally every character involves a twist.

Regardless of artstyle, I think 2 just looks better, like the models are more detailed and the textures are sharper. The levels are certainly better looking with great lighting and details such as reflective floors.

It may look better from a technical standpoint, but not from an artistit one. And art style is FAR more important than "raw graphics". That's where Acid 2 utterly fails. It just looks awful and aimed at 7 year olds with ADD. Everything is busy, noisy, cluttered. You know what it reminds me of now that I have modern day comparison for the art style? Randy Pitchfork's Stillborn.
