If it's in a fully playable state and it seems like it's releasing soon, it's not that hard to justify a purchase of an early access game. That being said, it's often hard to filter the ones who actually look to deliver from the crap ones that just stay in early access forever and never getting good. Always make sure and check the reviews and discussions before even considering buying an early access game.

Over all early access has been good for the industry. Some quality control is needed but more competition is aways better. Some of my favoret games are early access like rim world factorio overwatch and pubg.

I bought Space and Medieval Engineers and enjoy both quite a bit. AMA!
