Square Enix is incompetent at ports on PC.

The FFXIII and XIII-2 still give me massive frame drops in some areas despite having hardware that far exceeds the recommended requirements.

III and IV are mobile ports and run like absolute shit, and are not even properly formatted to take advantage of 16:9 like the PSP version of FFIII.

X and X-2 runs at 30 FPS locked due to shit being tied into physics (Although I will say outside of that, the games run fine).

I get the feeling this is probably going to run like ass unless you turn off the gameworks stuff and lower a couple of things.

Was anyone else underwhelmed when they saw the graphics for the PC version? I know it'll probably look better in motion, but the textures seem so flat. It looks like an old game. this is the point where i like to remind that non snes FF game on pc (7,8,9,10, all of 13)
All have issues and are generally considered bad ports. From looping music issues that restart the overworld music every time after a battle in ff7 or FF10 to FF13s semi locked 30 fps that occasional let you play 60fps but only so rarely it feels and looks really jarring.
