Trailer looks good, I liked D1 so I'm suckered into giving activision my funbucks. I don't like supporting them, but I kinda like bungie despite their fuckups with destiny and letting halo turn to literal garbage.

Call it a guilty pleasure, but barring the unfortunate delivery of content with the first game, I actually liked Destiny's gameplay and I'm kind of looking forward to a fresh start on this one. More so with the guided games feature since I don't really know anybody that has much of an interest and it will be a bit easier to do all of the content this time around.

I'll enjoy it for a month with friends and then probably wait until the year 2 DLC goes on sale to pick it up again

Isn't there another game (or games) coming out that resemble Destiny and appeal to the same fan base? Any thoughts on those?

I usually don't play FPS but I might get into the genre with some buds

No doubt it won't have 3 years of content, but at least this time there is a lot more missions, the lost sectors, the location specific missions and I know there is 1 or 2 other mission varieties I'm forgetting.
Plus they should already have the layout for things like Trials or that other pvp mode.
