Pretty fun. It's like playing a co-op "best of" Kirby game with a bunch of different playable characters.

Lost my old melee disc so the only smash game anyone in my dorm floor has is brawl

Pretty good.
I still prefer Melee, and many of the characters that added weren't as good as the characters they didn't bring back, even if most of the characters they didn't bring back were just clones.

I'd rather have Roy instead of ROB
I'd rather have Mewtwo instead of Olimar
I'd rather have Young Link instead of Toon Link

The only reason I won't say Smash 4 was trash is because I haven't given it a real chance.
Melee and Brawl has spoiled me.
Smash needs to be played with a GC controller. I tried with the procontroller and Wii Tablet. It sucks.
So until I play it with a GC controller, I'll hold my jugdement.

Probably the best single player experience out of the Smash games, though melee has a better brake the targets. Possibly the best stage list. By far the best music. Depending on your biases, maybe the best character roster. Tripping is lame and it is for sure the worst balanced smash game. All in all an enjoyable part of my childhood.

Melee and 64 have better single player experiences if only because they scale better. I mean all smash games have retarded difficulty modes, but Brawl/Smash 4 just become retarded due to move scaling. Items too. Stage builder, music sliders, saving default rules, control customization (even if the games control worse, especially smash 4), tag length, and roster size are the only real positives.

Competitively the others are better but honestly I had the most fun with Brawl between playing all the great new characters with friends and the story. The Snake reveal still gets me hype to this day.

It was fun

if you want a game where you can really whip out your vidya skills peen, melee is better, heck, even 4 is better, but brawl is still a really fun party game. Lotsa content to fuck around with. Someone slipping might piss them off, but everyone else watching gets a hearty laff out of it.. Snek and sanic will always be the wild card 3rd party picks with the most hype.

Brawl is better than Smash 4 by virtue of having more content, like SSE, Boss Battles and a (nearly) proper Break The Targets. Why couldn't they even give us Smash Run for the Wii U version?
