It has Ramza, but Dissidia feels wrong outside of the very specific framework of the PSP/PSVita. Such a grind/day-to-day basis of a game on a home console is not a good idea.

Yes, they said the game was designed from the ground up in this new 3v3 format, and that they were hesitant to add a 1v1 mode for this reason. If they don't I can imagine a lot of people just not picking this up in general, though.

its pretty fun with a pretty high skill cap IMO. But the 1 HP move is a bummer. And there is a lot of chasing and footsies which can be annoying.

As in, each character can only have one HP attack now. I think you can have multiple ones, but you can only set one unlike old Dissidia where you could have up to three at once. I don't know if there are links either.

the other addition is there is sort of a pool of moves that are shared between characters, stuff like bio, brave related buffs, heals, etc.

Nope. Best thing that could come from this is the tiniest possibility of Dissidia 012 getting a PS4/Vita/Steam rerelease in an attempt to build hype and that that revives the modding scene for it. If that doesn't happen, there's shit all to look forward to.

Yea VIII has huge issues but the scope of its story is still magical. Its still a Final Fantasy game before the series got all weird in 6th gen and died in 7th gen.
