Sakamoto wanted a 2D Metroid game, Team Ninja wanted Ninja Gaiden in space with large budget CGI.They're the reason Sakamoto went fucking nuts, don't try to paint this shit like they're innocent. As a 2D game, D-Rockets wouldn't have been involved thus we wouldn't have gotten the realization of his shitty script because Team Ninja wanted a fucking 3D game we got Sakamoto's full shitty vision. Sakamoto was in charge, if he didn't want a 3D game he should have had the balls to force them to do 2D. They were working for him. It was his decision to do the weird 2.5D bullshit. Found the problem.

I tried out Samus Returns over the weekend.
The actual gameplay was alright, but I could only get so much out of a 10-minute demo.
