>Games you liked that nobody else did
I remember my brother had this game but I don't remember much about it
Didn't it have like 2 discs at a time where that was unheard of

I rented that game and Star Ocean 4 back to back and took both back within minutes. They were just so bad.
I liked this game though.
>>387847678
Several 360 games had multiple discs.
>>387847692
I came to post this
>>387847554
I actually liked that game.
As for me, no one i've talked to seems to like the first genji game.
>>387847678
>Didn't it have like 2 discs at a time where that was unheard of
Also Tales of Symphonia had 2 discs as well and it was on Gamecube originally, you probably didn't play a lot of RPG's back then I take it.
>>387847713
Yeah but not that early on
>>387847773
I do, well I played just a bit of it but the amount I played wasn't bad to me.
>>387847713
See, I didn't really get into Dirge of Cerberus. I did, but not as much as I wanted to.
>>387847713
>calls infinite undiscovery bad
>likes dirge of cerberus
End your life immediately.
>>387847554
I enjoyed pic related. Nothing like boosting through space with dogfights happening all around me
Shame that the game had a bit of input lag iirc

It's a good game, but it shot itself in the foot, the lunar rain ruined backtracking.
>>387847791
Yeah that's true, my brother was more into RPGs. Nothing I played at that time had 2 discs so I was like "what the fuck, how big is this game"
>>387847982
SSSSSSONIC HEROESSSS!!! SONIC HEROES!!!!!
>>387848008
This game is just great and everyone I know love it.
Shame it's one of the many games hidden gems on 360, I'd buy a sequel.
>>387847924
FF production values vs whatever the fuck they were doing with the other game? I'll take FF. Maybe the game got better later on but it started out like garbage.
>>387847554
It wasn't exactly bad but the gameplay was shallow and the AI was terrible.
Also I got stuck near the end of the game because I'm underleveled and the bug isn't fun enough to grind through it
>>387847554
Generally known as a bad game in its respective communities, but I love it.
>>387848265
I enjoyed the combat system, guess it just depends on the person. Everyone has their own preferences on a combat system and what have you.
>>387848579
There's almost no combat system though, you mash square and use one of the few skills you can equip at the same time.
It get the job done but it could be a lot better
I like this game as much as the first one.
>>387847554
From the handful of people I've ever heard of who actually played this, they all hated it.
>>387848872
A friend of mine played it and I liked it, can't find it in store myself to tell.
I enjoyed the Ninety Nine Nights games though.
>>387848872
I couldnt even figure out wtf to do in that game
>>387848872
I've been looking for that game, what kind of game is it anyway?
>>387849428
an extremely repetitive ARPG with combat almost in the same vein as dynasty warriors (though later levels are not nearly as easy) with trippy ass dream sequences that break up the grinding and tell you the story.
>>387847554
>>387850040
I'll probably give it a shot, that is if i can find a copy of it.
I've always loved this game. Story is boring and repetitive, chara-design is edgy, but that feeling of liberty and freedom in all the city was great
>>387847791
>no one likes FFIX
>every FF thread derails into people obsessing over FFIX
Squid boss in Mario Sunshine
Hydra/serpent in GoW demo
Final boss in SpongeBob BFBB
Final boss in Super Mario World
I haven't touched these games in ages though so I'd likely be able to beat them now.
>>387847554
This one. shit taste yadda yadda
>>387847554
>>387848216
Dirge of Cerberus was literal garbage.
>>387851734
is this bait?
>>387851957
>Playing through it right now
If the bosses didn't have continue points mid fight the game would've been okay on hardest difficulty.
Otherwise its too easy from what I've seen.
>>387852431
>Nexon
Everything by Nexon starts out great and die horribly
>>387850949
Oh fuck I posted in the wrong thread.
There are games I like that nobody cares about, but none of which are hated.
>>387848016
really love this series hope they reboot it since its prob to late for a sequel. Main characters where ameizing
>>387852431
played the hell out of this when it came out for about 3 years or more. so many hackers
shit ending. Great DLC.
I know, I know, I'm shit.
But honestly, I really do feel like the game picks up, and the story gets interesting. And once you've got all your party members, the combat system is strangely immersive and fun.
Not going to defend the game to the grave or anything, I recognise 100% why people don't like it, and don't like the characters or setting, especially FF fans, but I dunno man, I really like it.
>>387850502
I love this game, too, man, there's nothing like running and gliding through the city. I had hoped Infamous felt the same way but it doesn't come close, feels so restrictive.
sonic unleashed, unironically the best 3d sonic game imo
>>387853431
Are you fucking kidding me?
Every 3d sonic game is shit house, with the exception of Sonic Adventure Battle 2, and sonic Colours
>>387852435
The game IS too easy. There's very little reason to mess around too much with all the combat pressens. The platforming was dull and not challenging in any capacity. The gameplay overall is just lacking, and was only really satisfying because of the combat music that synergized with the flow of the fight. When it came to bosses, Madame was great but the others were underwhelming.
That being said, the atmosphere, setting, and music made it an enjoyable experience for me and I'm sad that the world will never be revisited.
>>387853534
>sonic Colours
whose gameplay is based on Unleashed levels and even made worse due to the performance impact.
Educate yourself more.
>>387853534
>he's a sa2 fag
opinion discarded
>>387853534
how does it feel to be retard with terrible taste?
>>387847554
Op. I enjoy the fuck out that game.
>>387853431
This. I hated the werehog levels obviously, but I fucking adore the day levels. The graphics were amazing, the music was incredible, and it is the closest a video game has ever made me feel like I'm riding a roller coaster.
Sure you have to memorize some stuff if you want to be really good at the game, but people who shitpost with "boost to win" can just try to spam boost and die every minute.
I still can't put my finger on why I liked unleashed day stages more than modern levels in generations. Something about generations level design felt off.
I liked being a pirate with command to heathen voodoo magic
>>387847554
I remember that game. Was pretty fun. Second disc story was shit though
>>387853869
>performance impact
???
Not that anon, but Unleashed regularly dropped to <20 fps (or at least the PS3 version did) while Colors maintained a solid 30
Colors is shit for other reasons (like being 90% 2D segments), but the performance was not one of them
>>387847554
INNUENDO DIVE. I didn't beat it though, I think the last boss I faced was the one who did the tsunamis

>>387854049
>PS3 pleb having an opinion on framerate
Stop playing on shit hardware and it'll run fine
I liked it. But one of the last missions fucked me because all my parts were damaged and couldn't beat the boss thing.
To be fair I didn't really pay attention to the hype or the threads here after release. I also picked it up for 10 bucks at a garage sale on PS4.
Pretty fun pirate game. Not sure why people hated it.
>>387854447
No.
Well, /v/ anyway
This is genuinely my favorite game. Loved the battle system, loved the meta gimmick, and has one of my favorite game soundtracks
>>387847791
How fucking young are you that you think no one likes FFIX?
>>387847982
My first sonic game. I digged it. Even if it was a little janky it wasn't like anything I had played before
>>387847554
How the fuck did you get around absolute shit voice acting? Voices were transh. Lip sync was off by miles. I played ten minutes and my eyes/ears couldn't take anymore.
>>387853180
There's things I like about FFXIII like the overall art design, the world. and the music, but then there's also things I hate like the combat system, and the linearity of the game.
Honestly though I love the sleek sci-fi aesthetic the game has.
>>387853638
The made a story for a sequel but capcom is yet to greenlight it. I highly doubt crapcom would fund a sequel or any other game that isn't weebshit in this modern generation of games. They could barely afford to make new games or game engines.
>>387854496
Yes.
Gameplay wasn't really that good but the music and girls made up for it.
>>387852431
This. Game was pretty fun and had like a billion weapons (easily hundreds).
What the fuck happened to it?
Would've been great if the game actually had the length of a normal rpg. 10 hours time length and bad ending burnt people in a bad way. Still a good game tho.
>>387852864
It's like no one knew this game existed, this was the first Sonix game I owned.
It was pretty rad iirc.
>>387854941
I liked the gameplay other than how broken everything was.
>>387852431
>throwing granade at human pile just before turning into zombie
The assblast from those scrubs was glorious.
>>387854510
This is like a TellTale game.
First couple playthroughs are okay, but then the replay value turns to 0
>>387854514
I was pointing out that FFIX had 4 discs because that anon said he had never heard of games coming with 2 discs, jesus you have no reading comprehension. Retard, also I'm probably older than you so you're a double retard.
I don't know about 'hate' but everyone seems to greatly prefer the first one. I don't know, but I feel like MML2 did near everything better. Had better mechanics and as a result better enemies and bosses, had better dungeons, had better weapons, had better music, had more diverse areas and aesthetics etc
The only thing the first did 'better' was having all of the dungeons connected which gave the whole island a sort of mysterious and intriguing atmosphere, but even then I wouldn't say it was done in a particularly remarkable way
>>387854510
>>387854447
I like it too, you're not alone.
>>387855159
>also I'm probably older than you so you're a double retard
I can guarantee you're younger than everyone else in this thread.
>>387856264
Doubt it, that or you must be new to /v/ to say that, or you don't come on /v/ very often.
>>387847554
I own it but I've yet to play it. Same with LO. They need to port these to PC or something.
I'm being unironic.t. S3&Kfag
>>387856641
It would dark souls 2 for me. It's definitely flawed and a bit of disappointing in ways, but I liked it well enough.
the game was such a mess when it came out, especially on console, but i still enjoyed it.
>>387856641
>nobody else did
>>387854049
Colours maintained a solid 30 fps because the Hedgehog engine tanked the Wii so Dimps had to make their own shittier version.
>>387858560
>nobody else did
Have you read the dark souls threads that pop up?
DaS III is usually dismissed as nothing more than fanservice
>>387847554
I have really fond memories of using all the drones and racking up an insane amount of kills. Also that one map where the attacker start out on the other side of a mountain and have to fly over in helicopters.
>>387858943
you've been baited too hard anon.
>>387847791
Tons of games had two discs on the GC faggot, the PS2 port was one disc
Anyway the guy's obviously underaged but it is still true that by the 360's time multiple disc games were rarer
Hell if it wasn't for its shitty HD-DVD drive there likely wouldn't have been any at all
>>387858450
is it good now?
>>387860116
it's fine on PC, i'd give it a pirate since it's a roguelite and i know that's not for everyone.
/v/ knee-jerk hate it because ninja theory but its a really nice game. Nothing extraordinary but still a nice ride, and the DLC was interesting as well.
