I don't think that's what it was going for. Just that the barrier for making a game is low as shit now. It was during the whole "Depression Quest is a game" and "look at this brilliant mario level" days.
Don't see why you wouldn't just write a new song if you want to make it about the whole indie-scene. Don't have to revisit an old song for that.

If I write a song, will anyone be willing to sing it? Or do I have to sing it myself or pay people to do it?
