Yes, although I agree with those who say they take up too much space. At one point I had like 8-10 of them in my collection and they start taking up quite a bit of room very quickly. But still, I love how they came with big manuals or goodies like mousepads or game maps.

It was done for retailers, the bix size boxes made it hard for smaller stores to carry enough stock as the amount of available titles skyrocketed. Small size equals more games on the shelf.
