No, I think you're missing the point.

No matter how strong you get now, there's a limited range of things you can do with that strength. You're more likely to get swiped right on Tinder, you might win a barfight, you're more self-confident (though /fit/ seems to still have some issues with that), but you still work a shitty job. You're still a day laborer or a white-collar bugman or at best a trained professional. You could maybe join the military or run off to Syria and try to get Assad or Rojava to let you fight, but even then you may or may not be fighting for a cause you believe in. In other words there's no meaning, no reason to apply the strength, which the Crusader or the Viking and even the pirate to a certain degree had.

That's just my take though. Maybe everyone who wants more than empty materialism is a loser.

And it takes only a few seconds of critical thinking to realize that this line of reasoning is dumb, and you can find meaning in anything- meaning in life is what you make of it.

If you want to be a crusader, go join the church, rise through the ranks become the leader of some church, become the fucking Pope whatever. Join the Coast Guard, become a doctor, save people's lives, go travel the world. Become a missionary and go around the world rebuilding Villages that were destroyed by storms or War, teaching people how to read. There's a crap ton of things that you could be doing with your life that would allow you to find meaning, it's no one's fault but your own if you don't do any of that though. If you spend your life sitting behind a desk looking at images on an anonymous image Board, of course you're going to think that life has no meaning. There are people alive right now, who in this very moment are creating things, inventions and art, they're going to be remembered for thousands of years. They're going to change the face of human history. Do you think that to those people, life has no meaning?
