Man, I love it, the game has a lot of obvious flaws especially in the gameplay but the setting is just too good. Every single open world is generic fantasy bullshit with forests and forests or boring cities that I can visti anytime in real life.

Not really, they keep making the game worse with newer updates even with some things to slightly lower the grind, and they just make things cost a ridiculous amount of kill coins and materials to even obtain. Some blueprints take hours to even get to drop from enemies that only half a 50% chance of spawning as a Hater and it's just a mess now. It was better at launch even with the grinding.

Currently playing this, the side quests are shit, the camera is still crazy, combat is uninteresting and there are boring stealth sequences. Fantastic game.

It was pretty active at the start but then the playerbase started shrinking because there was just nothing to do once you hit 41 besides grind tons of mats for equipment which took hours on the most annoying floors. The Japanese release propped it back up and there seems to be more content coming out more often, but it's all mainly just for grinding purposes (Some of them cost 100k Killcoins for a single attempt which takes like half an hour or so to accumulate from dev haters).

2 was good but the first game was better. The improvements made to combat and through additions of the lunar and jupiter styles couldn't outweigh the godawful missions. The Hekseville stuff was alright, as was the mission where you followed the black haired Kat, but the rest was mediocre at best and terrible at worst. 2 was better for free roam and to fuck around in but 1 had the better story and missions and was therefore the better game.
