Shadowrun Dragonfall is amazing
SR Hong Kong does some areas better but it goes overboard with the story telling if you don't like reading, every NPC has a novella to tell you after each mission

They're all self contained with only slight nods to the previous title, it doesn't much matter.
SR:R takes place in 2052, DF in 2056 and HK in 2058, just know Returns is the weakest on offer, but not bad imo.

Returns, Dragonfall, Hong Kong. Ignore mongs who tell you to skip Returns. It's the weakest (and fairly linear), but it works as a good introduction to the Shadowrun universe if you're not familiar with it.

I feel that cyberpunk is for some reason not suited for an ARPG game. The visuals look nice but I don't see the cyberpunk theme coming through effectively here.
