So Odyssey will have lots of exploring.
Probably.
The best thing Odyssey is doing is that it's not kicking you out of the level for grabbing a star, which massively cuts down on all the padding from 64 and Sunshine.
If it has a lot of Galaxy-esque linear sections we're looking at the greatest 3D platformer ever made.
>Lots of exploring
>Find some guy
>You got a moon
>Find some other guy
>You got a moon
>Repeat adnauseum
Surely this is the direction I want my 3D Marios

Galaxy had lame linear sections, they were barely vertical at all. Sunshine did those better.

sunshine did everything worse. the only good thing about that game was the movement.
It only took Nintendo 15 years to learn what people want. Now thats progress!

that's a 10/10 video, very surprising from kotaku
It looks like Banjo-Tooie but with better movement options and more platforming.
Just don't go crazy with making the worlds big and empty.

They hired this guy right before E3 2017. His vids are the only reason to ever think about Kotaku.
