But a remake of FE1 with the current tech to not make the pre-rendered backgrounds blocky is going to be fucking nice.
Series is still one of my favourite puzzle/action games.

No dumb ass, a remaster would build the game from the ground up on a completely new engine. Nothing from the old game would magically transfer itself over to the remake because they don't physically share anything. The same bugs and glitches wouldn't exist in a remake (See: Ratchet & Clank). A Remaster just takes the old game and makes it look prettier. It keeps the same glitches and bugs because of this.

You guys are fucking retarded. A remake is a whole new game using the original game as an idea point at best. Like I said. Resident Evil 2002. Brand new game, brand new everything, related to the original game in name and theme only. Or Goldeneye Reloaded aka Bond of Duty, brand new everything, related to the original game in name and theme only. I actually really liked both games.

A remaster is a polish job, or a uprezzed port job, or something like that. Perfect Dark HD on Xbox Live is an example. The same core game, but now at 1080p60fps, more bots allowed in multiplayer, an optional dual stick control sceme, and more detailed textures. Otherwise, the exact same game. Or the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection. More pixels, more performance, and a tweaked control scheme (you no longer need to use sixaxis motion controls). Otherwise the same game.

I want to know if it is the top one or the bottom one.
