Greater sample sizes mean that you approach the expected value. Even if you had 10 or 100 times the number of reviews, the value would not deviate significantly.

And no: PoE is not a better RPG.

No RPG does choice and consequence as well as AoD, and in terms of combat system I don't know any game that does single-character melee combat comparably well.

Not him, but there weren't really that many AoD threads and most were positive. PoE has been trashed to an undeserved degree though. There are some things that PoE could have done better but its main flaw is being "not as good as Baldur's Gate 2".

Pillars of Eternity is indeed much better than Age of Decadence
