They're both rushed

One is a disappointing installment in a beloved franchise, forgetting what makes everything about the series memorable and interesting. This game is focused more on doing what everyone else does, and rather poorly I might add, than giving the player a truly unique and fun experience like previous entries in the series. The other is Final Fantasy XV,

both had centuries long development time and came out half-assed

Rushed in parts. At least XV has an ending though that people felt satisfying because of how well the bros were portrayed, MGSV cut out its ending.
