I used to join shitty vanilla servers that were obviously made by newbies playing by themselves or with one of their friends. These kids were so new, they never bothered with the server setting so I could just spawn whatever I wanted and fly around. I'd noclip into a safe area and snipe them repeatedly till they shut down the server. Surprisingly, they most of them would rather nuke the server than ban me. I guess they didn't know how to ban people.
Also, the rope tool was a great way to graffiti swastikas all over their map. Always got a kick out of it.
Best thing was using usernames like "you" or "me" or "nobody," so whenever they tried to pin any griefing on me in chat, hilarity would ensue.

Spacebuild, Sledbuild, Infected Wars, old Zombie Survival, Flood, Base Wars (or whatever it was called), Stranded, those modes about buildings racing cars and fighting bots, actual sandbox servers with Wiremod and skilled players... Hell, even Deathrun is almost dead, and Gmod Tower moved on.

I miss one sandbox server where people made very complex contraptions, from small bots to minigames and huge buildings of tests and traps, or entire theme parks. I think it was called IcyJoke or something like that.
