ie i just got done replaying all kirby games. superstar and the other older ones were the only ones that i was able to die in and have close call situations. the newer ones seem like they were made for literal babies, slow paced and not as fun for many many reasons (literally all challenge and enemy spam is gone, which is retarded since kirbys whole gimmick is that you are an overpowered blob that mows down tons and tons of enemies)

Kirby games are literally designed for retards and toddlers. It's supposed to be completable by absolutely anyone, no matter how bad they are at video games. Even the supposedly hard arena/true arena can be easily beaten by memorising simple attack patterns and spamming the same overpowered move repeatedly.

Something I don't like about the newer Kirby games is that levels seem to last a century and because they aren't particularly challenging they become monotonous very quickly. Split them in half.

Is every Kirby game exacrly the same boring waddling simulator as Epic Yarn? It's the only one I've played and it was so painfully easy. All the games in the series look exactly the same only with a different gimmick each time.

Kirby isn't boring. It was never difficult at any point in its history; you play Kirby for the atmosphere and playfulness. It lets you explore your childlike imagination as you test every enemy for their powers, and stick with your favourite (not the statistically strongest). It's a series focused on the player having a good time.

Kirby's Adventure is relatively challenging.
And 100% Kirby in Dreamland 2 is actually difficult.

Other than that, the series is ridiculously easy. Although I feel like nu-Kirby has very slow walking and running speed, which make things seem even more braindead.

It's about taking in the music and animations- how he marches or skips as he walks depending on his power, his cheerful smile as he drives a 4 foot bell into their skull. It's always calm and relaxing. I know a lot of people see kirby as a shitty kids game, but I see it almost like one piece. It's designed for adults to explore their childhood fantasies, to let go of work stress and have some mindless fun. No risk, just enjoyment.

Can we all take a moment and appreciate just how a e s t h e t i c Crystal Shards soundtrack was?
I'm never really a fan of listening to video game music, but that shit can go repeat for hours for all I care.
